What temperatures is a wool overall suitable for?

Boiled wool works across a wide range – roughly +10 °C down to around −10 °C, depending on what your child wears underneath. Wool regulates temperature by itself: it insulates in the cold and wicks moisture during movement, so your child doesn't get sweaty during active play.

Is boiled wool itchy?

No. Boiled wool is dense and soft, and the shoulders and hood are lined with cotton so the garment never touches the sensitive skin of the neck and face. The overall is designed to be worn over clothing, not against bare skin.

How do you wash a wool overall?

Wool is self-cleaning – airing and brushing is usually enough. When it does need washing, use a delicate cycle up to 30 °C with a wool detergent, remove the garment while still damp and dry it flat.

Which size should I choose?

If your child is between two sizes, choose the larger one. The overall is designed for layering, and the double cuffs fold back and unfold again as your child grows – so the larger size is worn considerably longer.
