What temperatures is a wool jacket suitable for?

Boiled wool works across a wide range – roughly +10 °C down to around −10 °C, depending on what your child wears underneath. Wool regulates temperature by itself: it insulates in the cold and wicks moisture during movement.

Do wool jackets get wet?

Boiled wool repels water and stays warm even when damp – unlike cotton, which draws heat away. In rain and snow the jacket protects while moisture evaporates, without the garment becoming heavy.

How do you wash a wool jacket?

Wool is self-cleaning – airing and brushing is usually enough. When it does need washing, use a delicate cycle up to 30 °C with a wool detergent, remove the garment while still damp and dry it flat.

Which size should I choose?

The jacket runs from 98-104 to 146-152 and sizes are based on height. If your child is between two sizes, choose the larger one – the jacket is designed to be worn over a jumper or long-sleeved top.
